Description
The Ebac CD40 is a heavy-duty dehumidifier for basements, cellars, storerooms and archive areas, removing up to 15 litres of moisture a day. It also suits drying shampooed carpets and areas affected by leaks or flooding.
For basements, archives and floods
Basements, cellars, storerooms and small archive areas all need reliable moisture control, and the CD40 is built with enough power to cover spaces up to 120m³. It is just as effective on shampooed carpets or areas hit by leaks and flooding. Heavy-duty components keep it performing in demanding conditions.
15 litres a day, 185 m³/hr
The CD40 removes up to 15 litres of moisture a day, moving 185 m³/hr of air while drawing 0.35kW of power on a 230V, single phase supply. Hot gas defrost clears frost from the coils automatically, so it keeps working effectively down to 3°C, in conditions where many standard units struggle.
Drain a tank, or fit a hose
A 4L internal water container collects moisture for easy disposal, or a gravity-fed drain hose can be connected instead. With the hose fitted and a drainage point available, the CD40 can run unattended for as long as it is needed. An adjustable humidistat holds the humidity level you set automatically.
Built to move around a site
Caster wheels and a collapsible handle make the CD40 easy to move between rooms or job sites. It measures 550mm high, 345mm wide and 350mm deep, and weighs 24kg. At 50 dBA, it runs quietly enough for occupied spaces as well as empty ones.
